Wildlife you may catch a glimpse of during your stay here at Deer Rest Campground: deer, squirrels, geese, eagles; sometimes even pelicans! We fell in love with the property and have always dreamed of owning our own business one day. This was the perfect opportunity and we are excited to share the awe and beauty of this property with you, our guests. We have completed the expansion of adding 46 additional full hook-up campsites, and opening a store on the grounds next to the campground office. Stay tuned for the updates. - Just minutes from Drake Harbor & Truman Lake. Local attractions of interest are The Lost Valley Fish Hatchery and Harry S. Truman Overlook & Visitors Center.

Outside firewood is NOT allowed to be brought into the park due to Emerald Ash Borer. Firewood may be purchased on-site upon arrival, and throughout your stay.

With our expansion, we do have several more full hook-up sites available for seasonal leasing.
We already have a wait list started. Please call if you have interest as they are going fast. Yearly Rates are $1850 plus your monthly electric usage. We also offer monthly rates when sites are available for $450 per month plus your electric usage for the month.

We Are Expanding
We have added 46 more full hookup sites. Each site has its own electric meter and will offer 30 amp or 50 amp. The renovation of the campground office is also complete. The office is rustic décor with a cozy atmosphere, that we hope our guests will find inviting and a place to gather and visit. We were able to open a small store in the campground office. With our expansion, we do have several more full hook-up sites available now for seasonal leasing.

Cancellation policy
CANCELLATION POLICY:
- 1 night $30 to hold reservation, balance due upon arrival. Cancellation more than 21 days prior to arrival, refund $15. Within 21 days: NO REFUND
- 2-4 nights $50 to hold reservation, balance due upon arrival. Cancellation more than 21 days prior to arrival, refund $25. Within 21 days : NO REFUND
- 5-29 nights $100 to hold reservation, balance due upon arrival. Cancellation more than 21 days prior to arrival, refund $50 . Within 21 days: NO REFUND
- 30+ nights $200 to hold reservation, balance due upon arrival. Cancellation more than 60 days prior to arrival, refund $100. Within 60 days: NO REFUND
- THERE IS A 3 DAY MINIMUM FOR HOLIDAY WEEKENDS (MEMORIAL DAY, JULY 4, AND LABOR DAY, NO EXCEPTIONS)
- Camping is an outdoor experience. Therefore , we do not give refunds due to the discomforts of nature, the fun continues rain or shine
