DISC GOLF
DISC GOLF COURSES Two nine-hole courses are challenging and fun for all ages and skill levels.📷M.K. White Park right off Main Street is a more open course, with lake views and a few trees.The other disc golf course is located at Shawnee Bend Park and features both wide open throws and tight turns into the trees.
With scenic views and a challenging layout, Shawnee Bend Golf Course has been a staple of recreation in the Warsaw community since it opened in 1985. Located minutes from historic downtown Warsaw- it offers small town prices while maintaining big city golf value. There is also a driving range.
Originally constructed in 1904, it has been rebuilt and refurbished over the years, and now serves as the connection over the Osage Arm of Lake of the Ozarks for the Warsaw Riverfront Trails. It is one of five remaining bridges built by Joe Dice, who was a self-taught engineer with a 3rd-grade education. The Joe Dice Swinging Bridge was placed on the National Historic Register on September 17, 1999. It is a favorite for visitors and locals alike, as it provides easy access to the trails system and gives great views of the Osage Arm of Lake of the Ozarks.

Quite simply Benton County offers some of the best bicycle and pedestrian trails in the state–and in the country. That’s according to MoBikeFed, the League of American Bicyclists and the Alliance for Biking and Walking, who have visited our trails system and bicycle and pedestrian facilities.We have a mountain bike and hiking park, a park and trail system in Warsaw’s downtown harbor area, and levee and riverfront trails. Both sides of the river are connected by the Joe Dice Swinging Bridge. The Butterfield Stage Experience passes through Benton County and offers back road adventures for gravel riding and bike-packing. TRUMAN LAKE MOUNTAIN BIKE & HIKING AREAA great place to get away! Trails that let you escape for the day, or for the weekend. For all levels of riding, sweet single-track, and beautiful scenic views. These trails are a beaten path single track that offers an off-road riding/hiking experience for the beginner and the advanced. Several colored trails can help guide you around or mix up different sections for a whole new adventure.
SHAWNEE BEND BLUFF TRAIL Take the West Dam Access Road to Shawnee Bend Park. At the top of the boat ramp parking lot is the Shawnee Bend Trailhead. Enter around the yellow gate. The trail is a 2.3 mile loop trail that is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips and is accessible year-round.
